Description
We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and compliance of health and safety standards across manufacturing sites. You will oversee risk assessments, conduct audits, and manage document control. Additionally, you will handle accident investigations and communicate effectively with staff across different levels to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement Risk Assessments including PUWER and COSHH assessments.
  2. Conduct Health & Safety inductions for new employees, covering company policies and procedures.
  3. Manage and develop document control within the HSEQ Management System.
  4. Conduct and oversee internal audits and manage external audits to uphold compliance and maintain accreditation.
  5. Oversee all health and safety issues, ensuring adherence to company procedures and effective communication with relevant personnel.
  6. Complete accident investigation forms, conduct accident reviews, and assist with back to work programmes.


Qualifications

  1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  2. Experience in document control.
  3. Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Solid Health and Safety experience.
  5. Willingness to travel to various manufacturing sites.
