Join our dynamic Risk Management team as a Health & Safety Consultant.

PIB Risk Management is currently recruiting an experienced and ambitious Health & Safety Consultant. The role involves providing Health & Safety Consultancy across sectors such as:

• Automotive
• Engineering & Manufacturing
• Haulage & Distribution
• Retail & Commercial

You will be responsible for covering Lincoln / Lincolnshire, with travel to client sites and some overnight stays. This is a full-time, client-facing role, not a contractor position.

Responsibilities

• Work within an agreed scope and timescale with each client.
• Produce and review risk assessments, safe systems of work, policies, etc.
• Conduct site audits and inspections.
• Investigate accidents and assist with legal defenses if necessary.
• Have a good understanding of RIDDOR.
• Operate our online Health and Safety Management System (xCenta) and assist clients with its integration.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and clients.
• Represent the company when dealing with authorities and insurance companies.
• Undertake assessments such as noise, vibration, and air testing (training provided).

Experience

• Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate; willingness to pursue Level 6 NVQ Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent CPD documentation.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Knowledge of current legislation and standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Valid UK driving license and own vehicle (car allowance provided).

Desirable Qualifications

• DSEAR certification.
• Noise & Hand Arm Vibration assessments.
• Fire Risk Assessment Level 3.
