Health & Safety Consultant – Bristol

This leading construction & property consultancy has an opportunity for a Principal Designer to join their team to support the growth of the business in the Bristol area.

You will contribute to, and be responsible for the delivery of Health & Safety services on a range of projects across a variety sectors including housing, education and commercial projects. The role will offer you the ability to manage multiple projects, gain an understanding of key hazards typical to building and construction projects and be able to work as an individual and as part of a wider team.

You must be able to work with both internal and external project stakeholders to ensure Health and Safety issues are properly addressed and managed during the project lifecycle. The role requires an in-depth understanding of design and construction processes and the ability to communicate effectively. You will have a clear understanding of the legal requirements of the CDM Regulations.

Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a construction related subject with at least 3 years post qualification experience you will have a thorough knowledge of CDM 2015 and associated codes of practice (L144) and general industry guidance.
