Health & Safety Business Partner - (251202)

Description

We are seeking a Health and Safety Business Partner based in the Midlands/Central region, offering hybrid working with a base at one of our national offices such as Birmingham or Peterborough.

This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of approximately £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience. The package includes a car allowance and benefits like a health cash plan and Wagestream.

Note: We cannot offer sponsorship for this role due to certificate limits, which we review regularly.

Typical Day

  • Collaborate with stakeholders within your Midlands/Central region.
  • Support operational management with training programs.
  • Conduct health and safety checks, audits, inspections, and generate monthly performance reports.
  • Assist with contractor procurement and maintain relationships with supply chain partners.
  • Engage with colleagues within the health and safety team.

You Have

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; Graduate IOSH, actively working towards CMIOSH; maintaining CPD as per IOSH standards.
  • Experience in maintenance/construction health and safety management.
  • Skills in risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
  • Experience supporting construction-related health and safety, including training on risks like working at heights, CDM, asbestos, vibration, and dust.
  • Ability to analyze incidents and complete investigation reports.
  • Experience in writing and reviewing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license for business use and commuting.
