The role

Manchester Airport seeks a Health and Safety Business Partner to support its growth. The partner will provide technical support and guidance to ensure legal compliance with health and safety procedures and regulations. They will offer professional judgment on risk management and incident prevention, requiring strong analytical skills for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

What will make you successful in the role?

Candidates should have experience working with ISO 45001 management systems and maintaining high safety standards in high-risk operational settings. Essential criteria include:

• At least 5 years of experience in high hazard and complex environments
• NEBOSH diploma or equivalent degree
• Experience developing technical health and safety policies and procedures
• Leading investigations and achieving root cause analysis
• Robust risk management skills
• Proficiency with information systems for performance monitoring and analysis
• Experience in auditing and assurance programs
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible attitude to adapt in a fast-paced environment
