Job description

To support the day-to-day functions of the Lead Trainers and the Health and Safety Coordinator, the successful candidate must be adaptable to meet the needs of the business and may be required to undertake other reasonable tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Filing and administration.
  2. Updating and maintaining the training matrix.
  3. Updating analytic reports.
  4. Supporting the accident and investigation administration process.
  5. Maintaining the accident database.
  6. Maintaining the contractor RAMs database.
  7. Supporting health, safety, and compliance processes.
  8. Supporting the training process for transport and warehouse.
  9. Supporting the control and monitoring of contractors.
  10. Assisting with health and safety active monitoring, including internal and external audits.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient in PC applications (Excel, Word).
  • Team player with a confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Effective in a busy and changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Experience dealing with invoices and accident reports is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
