Health & Safety and Regulatory Investigations Solicitor

Location: Liverpool

Salary: from £40,000, dependent on experience


Role Overview:

A dynamic and rapidly expanding regulatory department is seeking a qualified solicitor to join their team. This role will primarily focus on Health & Safety, White Collar Crime, and Transport Regulatory matters, with a particular emphasis on clients in the transport and logistics sector. The role offers diverse opportunities to work on regulatory investigations, criminal defence, and inquiries. You will assist senior team members and manage your own caseload, handling investigations, compliance reviews, client training, and representation at hearings.


Candidate Profile/Experience Needed:

  1. Qualified solicitor with 2-8 years PQE
  2. Experience in Health & Safety law or equivalent criminal defence experience
  3. Willingness to develop advocacy skills and participate in hearings
  4. Experience in Transport Regulatory matters or a desire to gain expertise in this area
  5. Strong organisational and time management skills
  6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  7. Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet financial and chargeable targets
