Staffline in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE compliance, strategy and continuous improvement across two UK sites. You will drive a positive safety culture, ensure legal compliance, manage audits and investigations, and support environmental initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will promote strong safety performance and stakeholder engagement.

Competenze

• Manufacturing HSE management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and standards.
• Experience leading investigations, audits and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.

A well-established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead HSE compliance, strategy and continuous improvement across 2 UK sites.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, managing audits and investigations, and supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives.

Main Duties HSE Manager

• Lead and develop the HSE strategy across 2 locations.
• Ensure compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Manage accident, incident and near-miss investigations, implementing corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE training and promote a strong safety culture.
• Track and report key HSE performance metrics.
• Support environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the subject matter expert for all HSE matters across the business.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following HSE Manager

• CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status.
• Proven HSE management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience leading investigations, audits and risk management programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
