About the Role

We are partnering with a leading pharmaceutical institute to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist. This role involves supporting the development of a positive and proactive safety culture across the organisation, particularly within research departments.

Responsibilities

1. Implement health, safety, and environment policies and ensure compliance with legislation.
2. Review risk assessments and method statements; address health, safety, and environment queries.
3. Conduct audits and inspections, identify areas for improvement, and report findings.
4. Provide health and safety support across the institution, especially in research areas.

Candidate Requirements

1. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within scientific research, universities, or related environments.
2. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
