Would you like to join a dedicated health safety and environment team where you can contribute to improving safety standards and driving a positive safety culture?

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist manufacturer to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager for their Birmingham site. This role offers the opportunity to lead on-site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Promoting a positive health and safety culture, engaging with employees at all levels
• Leading on the implementation of HSE for a new manufacturing programme launch
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Supporting the site with risk assessments, incident investigations, and training initiatives

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a health and safety role, ideally within automotive or plastics manufacturing, engineering, or a similar environment
• A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence others
