Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Location: Chiswick, London

Salary: £50,000 per annum + 10% Bonus, Private Medical and Dental, 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Reporting to: Head of Health, Safety and Environment

My client seeks an experienced HSE professional to lead health, safety, and environment initiatives across the site and support the Head of HSE. The ideal candidate will be passionate, engaging, proactive, and capable of leading change, solving problems, evolving procedures, and fostering a positive safety culture.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Group OHS strategy and plans
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and standards
• Mentor and guide the onsite HSE Advisor
• Promote a positive HSE culture at all levels of the workforce
• Drive continuous improvement in HSE standards
• Provide training, conduct risk assessments, and investigate incidents
• Support and lead HSE projects and campaigns
• Engage stakeholders and influence management to prioritize HSE
• Lead and present at internal meetings

Experience, training, and qualifications:

• NEBOSH Certificate is essential; NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is desirable
• Experience at a senior advisory or managerial level in safety, health, and environment
• High-risk manufacturing experience, preferably in food and beverage or similar fast-paced environments
