Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a global energy company to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. With an element of homeworking, the successful candidate will play a part in supporting the team to ensure a positive and proactive approach to Safety, Health and Environment.

The company has an excellent track record across health and safety and this role is critical to its continued success.

Responsibilities for the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:

1. Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the sites, seeking best practice at every opportunity
2. Supporting and advising site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
3. Regularly visiting assigned sites, auditing health, safety and environment performance
4. Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of management systems in line with company policy

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:

1. Proven experience in a similar role ideally within energy, utilities or electrical engineering
2. A NEBOSH or Equivalent (desired)
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
4. A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance and regulations
