What will you be doing
  • Create, maintain, promote, and review a safe environment for all project activities.
  • Provide expert advice on Health, Safety, Environmental, and Compliance matters to the Security Infrastructure team.
  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Promote a strong Health and Safety culture within the G4S Security Infrastructure team.
  • Liaise with Customer’s and Contractor’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Compliance teams daily to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in producing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and other documentation for Permits to Work.
What we are looking for
  • Either a qualified Health and Safety Professional with at least 2 years in a similar role or an experienced Security Systems Engineer with a good understanding of NSI and Health Safety standards and at least 5 years’ experience, seeking career progression.
  • Professional attitude with a proactive approach; willingness to work out of hours when needed.
  • Team player capable of engaging with Engineers, Managers, Customer Representatives, and other teams on site.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical installation industry, preferably with Low Voltage and Extra-Low Voltage Systems.
  • Must pass BS7858 screening, hold a full UK driving license (no more than 6 points), and have an Enhanced DBS. Additional screening may be required for some government sites.
