Reference: 222869363

Health, Safety and CDM Consultant required by a multi-disc consultancy to join their team in Birmingham. You will work individually and as part of a team to provide construction health and safety services to internal and external clients, as well as fulfilling the role of CDM Advisor/Principal Designer, ensuring compliance with the duties of the CDM regulations. Sectors include Commercial, Education, Housing, Logistics, and Manufacturing.

Duties include:
  1. Responsibility for managing your own projects
  2. Providing CDM advice and support to Client Teams
  3. Managing the pre-construction phase, including preparation and collation of pre-construction information
  4. Attending Design and Project Meetings as required throughout projects
  5. Carrying out CDM site inspections/compliance audits on construction sites
  6. Reviewing Construction Phase Plans
  7. Undertaking site Health and Safety reviews and producing reports for Clients
  8. Working to deadlines to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget
  9. Supporting team members
Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Certificate or similar technical or professional qualification (Level 3)
  • AaPS and/or TechIOSH
Experience:
  • Demonstrate practical experience of the design and construction process
  • Experience of overseeing the design risk management process
  • Thorough understanding of the CDM 2015 Regulations and the design and construction process
