Health & Safety Advisor – Waste & Recycling

Salary: 50,000 – 60,000 + Progression + Training + Benefits

Location: West Drayton, Greater London – Commutable from Slough, Reading, Watford, High Wycombe, Hounslow

Are you a proactive Health & Safety professional with experience in waste, recycling, or similar industries? Take full ownership of H&S, leading audits, inspections, risk assessments, training, and contractor compliance while supporting project teams to keep operations safe and efficient.

This engineering consultancy works across waste management, energy, and infrastructure, delivering practical safety solutions in high–hazard environments. With a growing global team, they offer strong career progression, training, and exposure to diverse projects.

In this role, you will carry out site visits, review risk assessments, deliver training, support reporting, and use digital tools to track performance, ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation.

This role suits a detail–driven Health & Safety professional with NEBOSH/IOSH qualifications and experience in waste, recycling, or similar sectors, looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

• Lead site audits, risk assessments, training, contractor compliance, and policy management
• Mon – Fri, 8–4 or 9–5 (flexible)

The Person

• Proven Health & Safety experience, ideally in waste/recycling
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualification
• UK driving licence
