Job description

VANRATH is assisting in the recruitment of a SHEQ Officer for a large organization.

Office is based in Coalisland / Dungannon - Monday to Friday.

This is an excellent company with a top reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining company SHEQ policies and ensuring compliance across the organization.
2. Preparing and managing annual audits (ISO 9001; ISO 14001 & Safe T Cert).
3. Producing RAMS and other project-specific H&S documentation.
4. Managing documentation including technical submittals, O&M manuals, and drawing revisions.
5. Weekly documentation is required; overall SHEQ responsibilities on projects are not a full-time position—approximately 12 hours per week.
6. Managing contract documentation, such as technical submittals and operation and maintenance manuals, and ensuring site documentation is current.

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the construction industry, preferably within civil engineering, is preferred but not essential.
• NEBOSH qualification (essential) and professional membership with IOSH (desirable).
• Strong familiarity with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance.
• Proven ability to conduct site audits, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions.
