Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for Brockworth to champion safety standards and drive a proactive culture on a major project with GXO. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with some flexibility for logistics needs.

You will develop management plans, deliver safety training, analyse HSE data and chair meetings, while overseeing contractors end-to-end in a highly regulated environment. Salary up to £40,000.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Safety (plus evidence of ongoing CPD).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and promotion of a safety culture.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or defence environments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and maintain Management Plans, Risk Assessments and SSOW.
• Deliver and record safety training and identify gaps.
• Input, analyse and report HSE data into GXO and Client systems.
• Chair and present at HSE meetings with tracked actions.
• Manage contractors end to end from permits to exit requirements.
