A leading civil engineering firm in Liverpool seeks a Health & Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental systems. The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH certification and preferably Tech IOSH, along with experience in management systems like ISO9001. This role offers a competitive day rate outside IR35, with an immediate start and a contract duration of approximately 18 months.

Overview

Health & Safety Advisor-Liverpool-To £370.00 Per Day OUTSIDE IR35

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective implementation of safety, health, and environmental systems and procedures for legal compliance.


• Ensure adherence to the business management system and applicable processes.


• Identify and report any gaps in documentation, competence, and systems using the appropriate change request procedure.


• Drive HSE compliance and risk reduction throughout the project lifecycle with specific focus on CDM compliance by dutyholders including them as the client


• Participate in external audits/verification of company accreditations.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH


• Ideally Tech IOSH


• Experience in working with Management systems including ISO9001


• Solid Civil Engineering experience with Tunnel exposure is an advantage but not essential
