Job summary

Kilnbridge is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support multiple UK construction and infrastructure projects. You will engage with project teams and stakeholders to drive best practice, deliver training, and embed a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with legislative and client requirements.

You will conduct audits, investigations and risk assessments, and provide guidance on safe systems of work.

Qualifications

• Recognised health & safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent).
• Experience in health & safety advisory or similar role within construction/engineering.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, compliance and industry best practice.
• Experience undertaking audits, inspections and monitoring contractor performance.
• Experience supporting investigations and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert health, safety and environmental guidance across projects.
• Support project teams to achieve HSE performance while meeting requirements.
• Conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews; identify improvement opportunities.
• Advise on risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Build relationships with project teams, clients and contractors to support delivery.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure appropriate controls.
• Assist in accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver training and safety campaigns to promote positive behaviour.
• Monitor HSE plans and drive continuous improvement across delivery stages.
• Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership.
