Health and Safety Advisor

Industry: Civil Engineering, Residential

Location: North West

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to ensure robust health and safety practices across our residential civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), managing construction phase plans, and compiling crucial health and safety file information. You will provide expert advice to project teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and internal standards. This role involves conducting site audits, safety inspections, and developing policies to foster a positive health and safety culture within the organisation. Additionally, you will investigate incidents, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to review and create RAMS
• Experience in overseeing construction phase plans
• Excellent communication and advisory skills
• Proficiency in conducting site safety audits
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to investigate incidents and produce detailed reports
