Health & Safety Advisor at a Leading Packaging Manufacturer

Hays Health & Safety is partnering with a world-leading packaging manufacturer based in North Wales. They are seeking an enthusiastic Health & Safety Advisor who is hands-on and visible on site.

The ideal candidate will be confident, team-oriented, with a manufacturing background and NEBOSH qualification. You should be able to engage with site teams on HSE matters, build rapport, and foster a safety culture.

Your responsibilities
  1. Conduct on-site audits, report issues, and implement corrective actions.
  2. Develop, maintain, and implement internal management systems.
  3. Create and update relevant Health & Safety documentation.
  4. Lead regular safety training sessions with site teams.
  5. Deliver toolbox talks and report on safety performance and targets.
  6. Generate regular Health & Safety reports.
Candidate requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards it (essential).
  • Hands-on attitude with coaching ability.
