Health and Safety Advisor (Interim, Higher Education) Oxford | Full-time or Part-time | 12 weeks | £16.57/hr | Start: ASAP

Are you a qualified Health and Safety professional with experience in complex or multi-occupancy environments? We're seeking an interim Health and Safety Advisor to support a respected educational institution in Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and improve health and safety practices across departments
  2. Support compliance with fire safety and relevant legislation
  3. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations
  4. Provide training and guidance to staff, students, and contractors
  5. Contribute to safe event planning and building project support
What You'll Bring:
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or NCRQ) and IOSH membership
  • Knowledge of fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene compliance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead on safety matters
  • Experience in residential or higher education settings

This is a hybrid/onsite role based in central Oxford.

Part-time hours will be considered. Some access limitations (stairs-only access) apply.
