Job summary

A public sector client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to enhance workplace safety within a construction and engineering setting. This role involves conducting inspections, developing training programs, and ensuring compliance with safety legislation. Candidates should possess a NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate and have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. Strong communication skills and IT proficiency are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and managing health & safety initiatives effectively.

Are you a Health & Safety professional with experience in a construction or engineering environment? Our public sector client is seeking a highly motivated Health & Safety Advisor to support their Direct Labour Organisation (DLO). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that has real impact on the safety and wellbeing of workers and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct workplace health & safety inspections and audits
  • Develop, deliver, and review H&S training aligned with legislative updates
