Health & Safety Advisor | Newport, Wales | Permanent | £45,000 - £47,000 Plus Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety professional to join a business and support their Health & Safety team in their data centre division. This role is based in Newport. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, civil engineering, or an M&E environment and be looking to join a company where they can progress their career into the data centre space.

The role:

1. Support the development of a strong Health and Safety-focused culture across the project and promote good safety behaviours.
2. Be an expert in Health and Safety legislation and best practices to assist with compliance and continuous improvement.
3. Support the development of measurement systems to ensure Health and Safety performance is accurately monitored.
4. Liaise with employees, subcontractors, and suppliers on Health and Safety matters as required.
5. Undertake and coordinate site inspections and audits.
6. Promote company values in all dealings with employees, clients, subcontractors, and external contacts.

The Candidate:

1. NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
2. Desire to progress your career in health & safety.
