This is a field-based role with regular travel across the South and includes a company car.
Working across a large portfolio of retail stores, you'll provide practical health and safety guidance, helping colleagues understand their responsibilities and maintain safe, compliant environments. Building strong relationships with operational teams will be central to your success, enabling you to coach, challenge where appropriate and influence positive behaviours.
A key part of the role will involve identifying risks during store visits, supporting risk assessments and providing on-the-ground coaching to store and regional management teams. You'll also deliver induction training, support new store openings and help ensure colleagues have the knowledge and tools they need to maintain high standards of compliance.
You'll investigate accidents, incidents and claims, ensuring root causes are identified and lessons learned are shared. Monitoring data, identifying trends and providing targeted support will help reduce risk and drive continuous improvement. Alongside this, you'll support the development of policies, procedures and best practice initiatives, helping to ensure risk assessment, incident and claims management processes are followed consistently across the business.
