Are you passionate about ensuring safety on roads and civil engineering sites? Do you have experience navigating highways and civil landscapes? If so, we want YOU to be our next Health & Safety Advisor!

What You'll Do:
  • Safety First: Provide expert H&S compliance advice to ensure everyone understands safety rules.
  • Audit & Investigate: Conduct compliance audits and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions.
  • Mentor & Inspire: Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement among employees.
  • Risk Assessments: Undertake and review risk assessments, compile method statements, and ensure conformity.
  • Data Detective: Investigate incidents and maintain safety statistics.
  • Compliance Guru: Conduct compliance evaluations and maintain legal registers.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure adherence to H&S policies.
  • Report to Success: Work with the H&S team to report on safety performance to the H&S Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Health & Safety Advisor/Manager in highways or civil engineering.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with CDM and Temporary Works.
  • Expertise: Proven ability to advise on health and safety, draft safe systems, and implement controls on civil sites.
  • License: Full UK driving license is essential.
