Health & Safety (HSEQ) Advisor

Essex Area Up to 50,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

Looking to step into a role where your Health & Safety skills really matter? We're working with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major projects on the strategic road network – and they're looking for a hands–on, switched–on HSEQ Advisor to join the team!

You'll be the go–to on–site for all things health, safety, environment and quality, making sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and by the book.

The successful Health & Safety (HSEQ) Advisor will be:

  • Keeping projects compliant with HSEQ legislation and company standards
  • Writing clear, practical RAMS, CoSHH assessments and safety plans
  • Carrying out site inspections and internal audits
  • Leading investigations and learning from incidents
  • Engaging confidently with teams and clients – on–site and in the office
  • Being a visible, proactive presence in the field
  • Working a 45–hour week with occasional night shifts depending on project needs
  • The Health & Safety (HSEQ) Advisor will be on a basic salary up to 50,000, depending on experience + car allowance + fuel card + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + private medical insurance + phone + laptop + progression.

The successful Health & Safety (HSEQ) Advisor will have:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • At least 4 years' experience in a construction or infrastructure H&S role
  • Solid knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Good IT, audit and reporting skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Highway experience is a bonus, but not essential

The Health & Safety Advisor will be paid up to 50,000, depending on experience + Car Allowance + Fuel Card + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Private Medical Insurance + Phone + Laptop + Progression.
