Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Bradford – 1 day per week (Nationwide Travel Required)
Salary:Circa £40,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

A growing, forward-thinking organisation in the business services sector is seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support compliance operations across its UK portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of H&S assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in a national role with strong support, flexibility, and career progression potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home-based with one day per week in the Bradford office (or full-time office option)
  • Regular travel across the UK to conduct site visits and verify compliance.
  • Work closely with the H&S Compliance Lead to review audits, assess performance, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001-aligned quality management systems and internal processes.

About You:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and fire risk assessments.
  • Experience conducting H&S audits in sleeping accommodation environments (e.g., hotels, care homes, student housing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and defect management processes.
