Job description

Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 2 years to cover substantive post holders career break.

Secondment Opportunity: Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The Candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills and an organized approach to take on the role of Health Record Services Supervisor. The successful candidate will be expected to manage and coordinate team members, allocate workload, monitor progress, and proactively solve non-routine problems, thus ensuring the provision of an efficient and adaptable Health Records Service.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, and demonstrate an ongoing willingness to develop their people management skills to ensure organizational values are met.

Applicants should have previous leadership experience in Health Records with demonstrable knowledge of a range of records functions. They should also be working towards achieving a qualification in records management, preferably the IHRIM Certificate or Diploma.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
