Job description

The Records department provides an essential support service. This is not your typical administrative post. The duties are predominantly centred around the physical retrieval, filing and preparation of case notes in conjunction with an efficient and professional outpatient reception service.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The duties include assisting in the provision of case notes for patient care, both Outpatient and Acute, ensuring that all case notes are delivered and prepared to Service Level agreements.

The post holder will be expected to undertake weeding of existing case notes in line with the organisation's Retention and Destruction Policy, ensuring that the Patient tracking system is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need to have an eye for detail and accuracy, as well as proven communication skills. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
