A leading health provider is seeking a Health Promotions Advisor to support clients in achieving healthier lifestyles. This role involves conducting health assessments, promoting wellbeing, and providing tailored lifestyle advice. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on making health happen for our customers.

Salary: £32,400 per annum + Excellent benefits
Type: 12 month fixed (full time 40 hours/week)

As a Health Promotions Advisor with Bupa Clinics, you’ll be able to use your training and education to support our customers by providing education on how to live longer, healthier, happier lives. Our customers are your priority, and you’ll spend the majority of your time with them doing what you do best and what you trained for.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
Supporting the service delivery of onsite health assessments to customers
Supporting the service delivery of in-clinic health assessments, including earwax removal, to customers
Maintaining accurate client records and getting involved in the end-to-end process
Promoting and encouraging a healthier lifestyle in accordance with Bupa’s current clinical policies
Carrying out clinical testing including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, gas analysis, diabetes blood test markers, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, anaemia blood test markers, electrocardiograms, audiometry, and functional movement screening
Creating individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behaviour change
Conducting post-assessment calls to support positive change and action plans
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology/sports science/nutrition (essential)
Customer-facing experience (essential)
Experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness or medical environment (desirable)
Accuracy in information recording and working within clinical guidelines
Ability to build rapport with customers, tailoring your approach to individuals
Empathy and ability to motivate customers to make positive health changes
