The role involves managing complex projects, leading Arts in Health initiatives, and developing services that address health inequalities in North Wales. Candidates should have strong leadership and project management skills, with a background in health or social care. The position offers a chance to make a significant impact on community health and wellbeing.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for BCUHB to appoint to a position within the Public Health Directorate. The post holder will provide overall management for highly complex, highly sensitive projects undertaken by the Directorate and regional partners within the locality and across the Health Board area.

The post holder will be required to plan, support, facilitate and monitor the progress of projects or work streams, which make up the agreed programme and to provide management support, training and expert guidance to all project staff.
The Delivery Lead will also be responsible for ensuring that policies for implementing projects across BCU are developed and adhered to, and that standard project management methodologies are applied to progress and successfully deliver projects.
The post holder will lead and support a programme of public health work, based on public health priorities to develop holistic models of care that embed prevention and reduce health inequalities in North Wales. This will include leading the delivery of Arts in Health and Wellbeing activities, and co-designing jointly commissioned social prescribing services.
The post-holder should be prepared to travel across the North Wales area, and will spend part of their time in the office and part of their time working from home, as well as attending face to face meetings.
