About the opportunity:
As a Health Assessment Consultant at Jacobs you will have the opportunity to influence positive health and social outcomes for some of the most exciting major projects in the UK, Ireland and further afield.
You will have a key role in major project delivery, working closely with our clients and helping to lead and build capacity in our health and social impact assessment workstreams. Your project experience will enable you to work collaboratively across diverse teams of environmental, planning and stakeholder engagement specialists, working as part of project teams to deliver high quality HIAs and Social Impact Assessments, embedding principles of participation, sustainable development and securing health gains and positive social outcomes in the design and delivery of our projects.
Our health and social assessment team specializes in consenting for nationally significant infrastructure projects across the UK, Europe and beyond. We provide technical expertise for clients and projects across a range of sectors such as water resource management, flood risk management, renewable energy, transport and global health. A significant proportion of our current workload is health and social assessment as part of EIA projects and as such we are part of the wider Water & Environment business, providing holistic services to help our clients meet their objectives across areas such as social value, sustainability and climate resilience.

We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
