Job summary

Source Health Economics in Oxford and London seeks an Associate Health Economist to work with the senior team on cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, and to contribute to NICE/SMC submissions with evidence-based solutions for clients.

You will conduct research, build models in Excel, perform basic statistics (STATA), draft technical reports, and present findings to clients, with a 37.5-hour week and hybrid work requiring 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• MSc or higher in health economics, maths, operational research or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic statistical analyses and interpret results.
• Input on model methods, data, and assumptions for economic evaluations.
• Identify UK cost data and draft model specifications.
• Write technical reports and user guides for economic models.
• Present findings to clients and communicate clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Undertake research and secondary data collection with proper referencing.
• Input into development of model specifications for cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses.
• Build cost-effectiveness and budget impact models in Microsoft Excel.
• Conduct basic statistical analyses and summarize results.
• Draft technical reports and accompanying documentation for clients.
• Communicate with clients and present results clearly.
