Job Description

  • Conduct economic evaluations to support resource allocation decisions.
  • Support the transfer of evaluation and CBA into a practice environment.
  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary programme and project teams, to provide benefits management support across all projects.
  • Work with business analysts, project managers and clinical and systems leads.
  • Work closely with other programme leads to ensure interdependencies across all programmes are considered and actions aligned.
  • Responsible for contributing to and receiving highly complex and sensitive information, creating briefs for presenting information to a wide range of stakeholders in a formal setting.
  • Analyse healthcare data and provide insights for policy development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project needs and objectives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health economics methodologies and best practices.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc requests and queries related to economic analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Health Economist should have:

  • A degree in health economics, economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with economic modelling and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant software such as Excel and statistical tools.
  • The ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
