Role Purpose

We are recruiting a Health Economics, Market Access and Reimbursement Manager (HEMAR) in High Wycombe, UK, to deliver accelerated market and patient access for our key brands. The successful candidate will work with a team of market access and health economics specialists, reporting to a senior HEMAR team member who leads overall brand strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Own health economic plans for allocated indications, develop models, and implement studies to address evidence gaps and build commercial opportunities.
  • Support the Portfolio Lead in collaborating with the country value team, regional networks, and new product development teams to align objectives and strategies.
  • Lead the development of HTA strategies for early and late-stage indications, engaging with internal and external partners.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality submissions to health technology assessment organizations such as NICE, SMC, and AWMSG.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clinicians, patient groups, payers, and HTA officials to support brand strategies.
  • Influence evidence generation plans through proactive engagement with global and regional partners to meet UK payer requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree (e.g., MSc, PhD) in Health Economics, RWE, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Health Economics and Market Access, with experience in developing junior staff preferred.
  • Knowledge in therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Pulmonary diseases, Neuroscience, Immunology, Cardiovascular & Metabolism, or Ophthalmology is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of health economics concepts, evidence synthesis, and HTA methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in complex environments.
