We are seeking

A well-organised individual with a strong interest in programming, data analysis, and quality control. You will be responsible for managing highly dimensional data (spatial-temporal, images, biomedical datasets, etc.) generated from the SchistoTrack Cohort in Uganda. Your support will include data wrangling, programming, and data analysis to assist the Oxford and Uganda teams.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse data types, address pressing health issues affecting some of the world's poorest populations, and develop rigorous research skills within a multidisciplinary team employing quantitative methods to solve novel biomedical problems.

Minimum qualifications:

  • A strong degree in life sciences, mathematics, or a related computational field such as computer science, physics, or engineering (MSc level).
  • Experience with R or Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, or machine learning.
