Health Care Support Worker Specialist CAMHS Substances Use Service

Join to apply for the Health Care Support Worker Specialist CAMHS Substances Use Service role at Lehrman Cameron Studio, LLC.

Job Overview: Work as part of the Specialist Substance Use Team to provide evidence-based services for patients within CAMHS and Substance Use, supporting carers and families. Ensure smooth transitions from S-CAMHS to other mental health and substance use services, in line with policy guidance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide patient care in community settings without direct supervision, including homes.
  2. Deliver specialist substance use care and treatment as per patients' care plans.
  3. Assess and review patient needs and responses to interventions, contributing to multidisciplinary assessments.
  4. Support planning of individual care, including psychoeducation, coping skills, and daily living support.
  5. Promote positive mental and physical health, social inclusion, and access to education or employment, engaging with patients and families to meet care outcomes.
  6. Occasionally work autonomously delivering interventions to young people with complex needs.
