A prominent NHS organization in Newport is seeking a caring and conscientious Health Care Support Worker to join its Mental Health Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit. We are seeking a caring and conscientious Health Care Support Worker to join our Mental Health Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Cadocs Hospital. The PICU is a 9-bedded locked unit for males and females. Flexible working patterns, including 12-hour shifts, are available.
The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting in providing care and treatment under supervision of senior practitioners. The role involves supporting service users with complex needs, aiding their recovery, and promoting social inclusion.
Currently, we cannot provide sponsorship certificates for this role as it does not meet the Home Office’s criteria. Applicants requiring sponsorship are unable to be shortlisted or interviewed.
