Aneurin Bevan University Health Board support flexible working.
Please be advised that there is a temporary top up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour - £24,638 per annum.
This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

Job Overview
Health Care Support Worker within ABUHB at the Nevill Hall Hospital working within the Medicine Division.
An exciting opportunity has become available within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as a Health Care Support Worker. To join our caring and professional nursing team.
A Recruitment and drop in Session has been organised for Thursday 26th 2025. The event is being held between 10am - 2pm in NHH Main Reception. At the Drop in Session there will be an opportunity to meet staff and to Interview for NHH Health Care Support Worker Vacancies. Applicants who do not attend these drop in sessions will have their applications withdrawn from this vacancy.
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care gained in a Health & Social Care Setting or experience for 6 months within a domiciliary setting.
Please note that this role will require you to be fully flexible so that you are able to cover rotational shifts that includes days, nights and weekends.
Please also note that we will not be providing sponsorship for this role
Main duties of the job
We are a friendly team and welcome applications from Health Care Support Worker's who possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and who are committed to providing high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a hospital setting. Ideally the candidate will have excellent computer skills and be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards their colleagues.
There are lots of opportunities to further develop and you will be supported with training and education.
