Health Care Support Worker vacancies, 1 full-time 37.5 hrs per week, have arisen within the Older Adult Mental Health Inpatient Services at Annwylfan Ward, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly.
Shift patterns are working 7 days a week on a shift pattern working 12hrs long day and 12hr night shifts. However, flexible working patterns may be considered.
Annwylfan is a 16-bedded Older Adult Mental Health Dementia Assessment ward in Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and other professionals. You must be an excellent team player, highly motivated, and enthusiastic about working in a demanding but rewarding service. You will join a passionate team focused on achieving excellence in care delivery for this challenging and rewarding patient group.
The successful candidate must be able to work flexibly to meet the rotational shift patterns covering a 24-hour period. An interest in older adult inpatient care and enjoyment of working in a busy, challenging environment are essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
