Overview

Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) – Maternity Cover, Band 3

Location: Perth Royal Infirmary, Children’s Outpatient Department; travel across Tayside may be required.

Hours: 15 hours per week. Contract: Fixed term/Secondment to 10.08.26.

Responsibilities
  • Support the CCN team and specialty nurses and families within NHS Tayside.
  • Contribute to the NHS Tayside team and development of own scope of practice within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate confidence in professional knowledge and experience; understand lone working with support of a registered nurse.
  • Work with orientation package to area.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Experience in healthcare; ability to travel across Tayside.
  • Ability to work in lone working scenarios with supervision.
  • Compliance with Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
