We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Support Worker to join our team on Ward 11. You will be responsible for providing both clinical and non-clinical support to ensure high-quality patient care and assist the nursing team in delivering day-to-day care.
This post is for shift work, including weekdays, nights and weekends.
Main duties of the job
- Support the team with the delivery of high-quality care to all patients during their stay.
- Liaise promptly and with the nurse in charge any concerns with regards to patients’ wellbeing.
- Assist patients with their nutritional requirements.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation under supervision of a registered nurse, raising issues of concern with a qualified nurse where appropriate.

- Evidence of general education e.g. which includes English and Maths GCSE’s or functional skills Level 2 or equivalent.
- Willingness to work towards and complete the Healthcare Support Worker Level 2 apprenticeship

- Vocational qualification at level 2 or equivalent relevant experience
Experience

- Previous work experience which includes team working, communicating with staff and colleagues, and understanding of work practices.
