Job summary

Glan Clwyd Hospital is inviting applications for a position within the ward 12 nursing team to support doctors and nurses in caring for patients on a busy renal ward. You will work as part of a team to deliver care in partnership with other health professionals, the patient, their family and carers.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with care planning, carry out a range of duties, and deliver patient-centred care in line with the nursing care plan and local standards.

Qualifications

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills required.
  • Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable: Completion of all Wales Induction Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver patient care on a renal ward, working with other health professionals and engaging with patients, families and carers.
  • Deliver care as documented in the nursing care plan and perform a range of duties under supervision during the shift.

Job Overview

Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to join the ward 12 nursing team in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The role will involve team working to support the Doctors and Nursing staff in supporting people in our care on a busy renal ward.

Main duties of the job

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers. Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.
