Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join our CCN team. The individual is keen to develop their scope of practice and gain experience within the multidisciplinary teams within Children and Young People’s Services.

The HCSW will be expected to contribute to the NHS Tayside team supporting the CCN team, specialist nurses and families in NHS Tayside.

The individual must be able to demonstrate confidence in professional knowledge and experience within this role, including an understanding of lone working with the support of a registered nurse.

The individual will be supported in this role by the team with an orientation package to the area.

The post will be based in the Children’s Outpatient Department, Perth Royal Infirmary, Perth, but the ability to travel/work across Tayside and the surrounding area is essential.

You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
