NHS Scotland invites applications for a Health Care Support Worker in the Endoscopy Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary. The role focuses on decontamination of endoscopes and delivering safe patient care within a five-day service. A tailored induction and development programme will be provided, with travel to Ninewells Endoscopy Unit possible.
Hours: 15 per week. Applicants should be prepared to work as part of the Unit team and to support ongoing clinical activities.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join the well-established nursing team within the Endoscopy Unit at Perth Royal Infirmary. This busy department provides a five-day service providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of investigations including Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Gastroscopy, Bronchoscopy and EBUS, for both out-patients and in-patients.
We are looking for an individual who will enjoy working in a challenging environment. A large part of the Health Care Support Worker roles involves the decontamination of endoscopes. Previous experience in this type of work would be an advantage.
There may be a requirement to travel and work at Ninewells Endoscopy Unit.
We want our Endoscopy Units to be places where patients come first, therefore we require an individual who will work as part of the Unit team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective care for patients.
We will provide a tailored induction and development programme.
