A leading healthcare provider in Scotland seeks a Healthcare Support Worker for Ward 1, focusing on patient-centered care in a surgical unit. Band 3 - Salary Range - £26,869 - £26,998 per annum (pro rata)
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum (pro rata)
Are you a Healthcare Support Worker or Nursing/Care Assistant looking for a new challenge and development opportunity? Ward 1 / HDU / DSU is a busy surgical unit that admits both adults and children requiring surgery, whether planned or emergency. We aim to provide patient-centered care with a holistic approach, maintaining high standards in a challenging yet rewarding environment. You will learn new skills and help deliver excellent patient care.
You should have experience working in a caring environment, effective communication skills, numeracy, and an interest in developing skills in preventing healthcare-associated infections (HAI) and managing local stores.
