What is involved?
Join our team at the Cwm Gwendraeth Service. It’s secure work with full training. Unlike many health care roles, Level 3 progression is available whether you work part-time or full-time, with flexible options. Our Level 3 Health Care Practitioners are caring and supportive. If you are kind, caring, compassionate, and committed to helping others, you are already a great fit. This role has a significant impact on people's lives.
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care is essential, and applicants must be over 18.
What’s involved as a Health Care Practitioner?
You will care for individuals with complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. We focus on understanding each person, empowering them to be involved in their lives, and providing practical support to help them reach their goals. Responsibilities include personal care, maintaining health and hygiene, and ensuring safety. You will work alongside Registered Nurses in nursing settings, assisting in delivering safe and effective care, managing specific clinical areas, administering medication with support, and maintaining accurate records.
