Job summary

NHS England is seeking a Cyber Security Advisor to support the DSPT and the national data security assurance framework for health and care organisations. The role involves expert guidance, managing enquiries, platform development, testing, and delivering communications and engagement initiatives.

The post holder will work with service owners and operational teams to ensure high standards of service delivery and contribute to wider cyber security services, including awareness and training

Qualifications

• Essential knowledge of IT security policies, standards and procedures.
• Ability to apply cyber security knowledge across service areas.
• Experience in notifying, advising and supporting organisations through security assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for the DSPT and provide guidance to health and care organisations.
• Support DSPT platform development, testing and service improvement activities.
• Produce reports and management information to support delivery and decision-making.
• Develop communications, guidance materials and webinars for stakeholders.
• Coordinate engagement with NHS organisations, care providers and partners.
