Job Description:

1. Main duties of the job:
2. Implement agreed plans of care and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of registered practitioners, supported by ongoing supervision and support.
3. Contribute to monitoring the physical environment to ensure it is safe and conducive to therapeutic work.
4. Assist in maintaining the quality of service and care, identifying any risk issues within an agreed supervisory framework.
5. Provide support to service users in daily living activities where appropriate.
6. Carry out practical tasks as part of the care plan and complete supportive observations.
7. Monitor and provide feedback on care strategies and interventions to registered practitioners to support their evaluation.
8. Enhance the lives of people with learning disabilities by minimizing the impact of their condition through excellent service delivery promoting recovery and wellbeing.
9. Advocate for and promote a positive image of people with learning disabilities.
